Peter denied Jesus three times and yet God's grace was great enough to forgive his sin. Peter was strengthened by the grace that he received and became a completely changed man who encouraged the Church.

Peter's story frees us to be honest and open about our weakness and failures because we have the promise of Jesus who leads sinners to repentence. Let's not be afraid to admit our failures.
