Romans #4: The Wrath of God
God's wrath is his just, righteous response to human evil and sin
If God were not angry with evil, he would not be a good God
Why is God's wrath revealed?
1. Humanity suppresses the truth about God (v18-20)
2. Humanity values the wrong things (v21-23)
3. Humanity worships things other than God (v24-25)
God's mercy and compassion mean that he has made righteousness available in Christ for those who believe so that there is hope of escaping his just wrath.
