GO & MAKE

These two words are a couple of the final words Jesus says to His disciples. It is an overwhelming prospect to think that the ongoing work of Jesus is given to us as His disciples. It is good to remember that when he commanded us to ‘go & make’ he gave us a wonderful promise. He promised: “I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” What a reassuring truth. This is coming from the one who has been given “all authority in heaven and on earth.” Here’s some practical steps you can take to help you keep the command to ‘go and make.’ (Thanks to my friends at the Hunter Bible Church)

Let’s pray that as the people of Lakeshore Church would be living ordinary lives with gospel intentionality.

#step1 Recognise friends: who do you know is NOT living for Jesus?

#step2 Pray for friends: who will you pray for? (2 people not living for Jesus once a week)

#step3 Make time for friendship: when is your next time that you will see that person?

#step4 Share your story: when & how will you share your story with that person?

#step5 Invite your friends: how are you going to invite your friend to investigate Jesus?

#step6 Keep going: how will you continue the conversation?
