Bill is married to Kathy, and they have four daughters. Bill grew up in country NSW, and after graduating from the University of Queensland in 2000 with a BA (History), he worked in university mission with Student Life at UQ for 8 years. Bill came to Lakeshore as our first Ministry Training Apprentice in 2008 before becoming Associate Pastor in 2009. He graduated with an MDiv from Brisbane School of Theology in 2015. In 2016 Bill took on the role of Senior Pastor. His interests include enjoying the Sunshine Coast outdoors with his family, playing basketball, occasional history lecturing and plenty of reading.
After becoming a follower of Jesus in his teen years and being blessed by strong biblical teaching & mentorship all through his life, Tristan loves living for Jesus -- whether that is sharing life with his wife Natalie, exploring the beautiful creation with his two young kids, working in the two businesses they run, or hanging out with friends belting out some classic tunes on the guitar.
Jim moved to the Sunshine Coast with his wife Hannah in 2010. They have two young boys who were born on the Coast and as a family they love the Coast lifestyle. After growing up in the Blue Mountains, Jim came to know Jesus as a young adult. He works as a landscape estimator, and loves mountain biking.
Dave, Anna and their family moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2016 to launch AFES (Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students) at the University of the Sunshine Coast. AFES aims to proclaim Jesus Christ at university to present everyone mature in Him, by building student groups that, evangelise, encourage, train and send.
Kathy works part-time at Lakeshore Church coordinating Kids Alive, our Sunday morning children's ministry, and our rosters and other administration using the Elvanto system.
Ben grew up on the Sunshine Coast in a loving Christian home. He became a Christian as a young teenager. He began working as a Customer Service Assistant at Fastway Couriers after school before starting his own business as a Photographer/Videographer and doing part time Disability Support work. He enjoys riding mountain bikes, playing drums, photography and reading. He loves teaching the bible, mentoring young guys and leading Lakeshore Youth. Ben started MTS at Lakeshore in 2021.
