This Sunday is our 2020 Vision Sunday. Over the last three weeks, we’ve been talking about three different opportunities to give financially, each relating to Lakeshore being a Fruitful, Healthy and Multiplying church. If you would like to do this, here is a summary of each project, and instructions for how to give:
“FRUITFUL”: In 2020, our new Associate Pastor will be focused on evangelism – training, coaching, organizing, and encouraging us as we share the gospel. We want to have an amount of money put aside for new ideas in evangelism, as an encouragement to try some new things! You can give a special financial gift to help make this happen.
“HEALTHY”: We love to help our kids mature in their understanding of the gospel. In 2020, we are planning to employ a part time Kids Alive worker, who will also assist with church admin, especially related to child safety. The salary required for this position is above & beyond our present budget. You can give a special financial gift towards this salary.
“MULTIPLYING”: As a church, we want to be making a difference beyond our own church in our community, through other churches, and around the world. We are planning to give a “project gift” to one of the Compassion Child Sponsorship centres we support in Manado, Indonesia. You can be part of this with a special financial gift.
You can give this special gift in two ways:
- Put your gift in one of the 2020 envelopes and put it in the special offering on Vision Sunday. You can also take the envelope home and put it in the offering over the next month. Make sure you tick the project you would like to give to!
- OR You can give via an online transfer into the Church account (details below). Make sure you enter FRUITFUL, HEALTHY, or MULTIPLYING as a reference for the transfer to indicate which project you’re giving to.
